Rules and Procedures for Cooperative Learning Groups
When speaking to Mr. Ceresini, please raise your hand to get his attention. Please listen to all directions and ask questions if you need clarification on the assignment.
- Groups are determined by using data available to Mr. Ceresini or picked randomly.
- When the forming of groups is necessary, students are to go with their specified group to the designated area at the conclusion of the instructions from Mr. Ceresini.
- Roles for each group member will be assigned and recorded.These roles will switch from activity to activity.
- During group interaction, the following behavior is expected from each member of the group and amongst the groups:
- Listen to all members of the group.
- Everyone contributes to the discussion or activity.
- Share your thoughts and ideas.
- Stick to the topic.
- Respect each other by not talking while someone else is talking or talk over someone else.
- Respect the ideas of others.
